Years and years ago, I saw this movie called “Six – The Mark Unleashed”. It was a very eye-opening movie about just what type of society we’d be living in, in the near future. That future is NOW. And here’s the really creepy thing. In the movie, a super intelligent AI was “made in the image of the beast”. And IT was talking to the people who had taken The Mark and giving THEM orders and instructions to obey. And all the rest of the people in the movie who didn’t take The Mark were imprisoned and later KILLED! And back then, the movie seemed so far-fetched and “extra-dramatical”. Well guess what, folks? That “movie” is NOW BECOMING A REALITY! The city of Jerusalem is set to soon be divided, there’s talks of the 3rd Jewish Temple being rebuilt, not to mention that Trump and his administration want to move the US Embassy TO Jerusalem! There’s something going on here, folks! Something BIG that the media’s trying to cover up (for NOW, anyways…….) It makes me wonder if the 2 Witnesses are there in Jerusalem already and the media’s just trying to hide it or what…..(But that’s a different video for a different day). Here’s one of the weirdest things, folks. Not ONLY is there now an intelligent robot by the name of Sophia but Saudi Arabia has granted her CITIZENSHIP! That’s right…….CITIZENSHIP! What is going on here, folks? There’s ALOT of things the media’s not telling us about just [More]

The field of construction is well placed to benefit from the advent of machine learning and artificial intelligence. As part of the BIM 360 Project IQ Team at Autodesk, I’ve had the privilege of being a part of Autodesk’s foray into machine learning for construction. This talk will focus on summarizing the developments in this space, and we’ll cover some ways in which one can prepare to maximize value from this technology. The class has 2 sections. The first part provides a broad survey of some of the applications of AI and machine learning in construction, and the potential impact. These processes are making changes across various areas, including risk management, schedule management, subcontractor management, construction site environment monitoring, and safety, to name a few. In the second part, the focus will be on construction industry leaders who will talk about their experiences with smarter tools in their daily jobs, and their views of the impact that these tools might have in the short and long terms. The original video credited here was recorded in 2017. In it, we see D-Wave Quantum Computer co-founder, Geordie Rose, talking to a Vancouver Tech Conference audience, made mostly of possible future employees, of his newest and most ambitious start-up yet, KINDRED A.I… In this creepy video, Geordie, nonchalantly mentions his new company’s ultimate mission to create human level A.I. that will be capable of doing “…anything any human can do, but do it way better.” He and his collegues at KINDRED, seek to “change the world forever” with their godlike creation that he says will be no different than a super-intelligent alien being that isn’t gonna be aligned with what we as humans want or need, and won’t, “… give a shit about us in the slightest!” Geordie’s speech here is about as terrifyingly appalling, doom filled, satanically over-toned, and over-all just about as fearsome and horrifying of a story that you have ever heard, right from the mouth of one of the scientific communities most highly esteemed members and one of the co-creators of thee most advanced computer system ever developed in the world! This dude is fully legit and no crackpot scientist I can assure you of that. I believe that this is the sole reason for the intense level of alarm and plain old spook my brain and body feels when I listen to this speech… 👀😳😱… NOPE! 😎🕶🌪 #singularity #ai #quantumcomputing #aliens #antichrist #summoning #demons #mandelaeffect #kindred #dwave #july132030

What is Artificial Intelligence? Artificial intelligence (AI) is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. The field of AI research deals with all aspects of intelligent systems and their application in areas such as robotics and computer vision. Artificial intelligence is a topic that is creating much interest and debate, both in the scientific community and in the general population. Artificial Intelligence has actually been in existence for much longer than the public have known about it. It began when in 1946 Alan Turing introduced his famous Turing Test, in order to determine whether a machine is intelligent or not. Artificial Intelligence was then developed further by scientists such as Marvin Minsky who helped create Artificial Neural Networks that are able to be trained to recognise patterns within data sets. Artificial Intelligence has since made several remarkable achievements including: – Deep Blue defeating world chess champion Garry Kasparov in 1997 – IBM Watson winning Jeopardy against two former champions in 2011 – Google’s self-driving car being approved by the US government for road use in 2015 – AlphaGo designed by Google’s Artificial Intelligence subsidiary DeepMind defeating world champion Lee Sedol at the GAME OF GO (also known as BADUK, WEI-CHI etc.) Artificial Narrow Intelligence is on the uprise on a daily basis with new AI developments taking place all over the world. All of this suggests that Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) will soon be upon us, which will allow machines to learn faster than ever before [More]

This book which was released in 2015 analyzes the impact that AI will have on the labor market like retail, health care, education, IT, consumerism, etc. He believes that there will be a social and economic disruption because of AI and machine learning. #1 The American Goldilocks period There was a perfect symbiosis between rapid technological progress and the welfare of the American workforce from 1945 after WW2 to 1970. Machines were widely used to improve the productivity of the workers, which increased profits and made humans more valuable, allowing them to demand higher wages. However, after the 70s, machines proved to be better workers than humans. While this shift to automation is visible in the automotive and agriculture fields, it’s not as evident in architecture and construction. #2 Factory reshoring Outsourcing or offshoring is the act of moving work and jobs to another country for numerous reasons, one of them being cheaper labor. This loss of jobs in the States was evident from the 1970s to the early 2000s. However, we are now [More]
When one hears the term “AI,” images of a futuristic, fully automated world that frees humanity from day to day tasks come up – combined with darker visions of a dystopian world where people will be subjugated by “Robocop” type machines that control everything. The planet is currently experiencing a glorious era in technological history – the rise of artificial intelligence. Yep! AI has finally arrived – and it’s here to stay. Many of us have not noticed but in the past decade, artificial intelligence has advanced so much that it is now in our homes, directly affecting our everyday lives. AI is in our electronics (Hello Alexa!), including our smartphones, helping us shop online, translating foreign languages and even recommending videos to binge on Netflix. From the moment computers were created, man has always worked on making it think more like humans. Studies began in earnest in the late 1950s, but sadly, the final outcome was not successful and this potential new field of computer science was (basically) declared a dud. Fast forward to the 1980s, it was given a new life by scientists in Canada, which never stopped funding AI research when the rest of the world did. This continued support allowed AI pioneers like Geoffrey Hinton, Yoshua Bengio and Richard Sutton to push forward and lay the groundwork for what we now call machine and deep learning. It still took another 25 to 30 years though, for AI to shine, mainly because the technology – especially the [More]
As research around the world proceeds to improve the power, the scope, and the generality of AI systems, should developers adopt regulatory frameworks to help steer progress? What are the main threats that such regulations should be guarding against? In the midst of an intense international race to obtain better AI, are such frameworks doomed to be ineffective? Might such frameworks do more harm than good, hindering valuable innovation? Are there good examples of precedents, from other fields of technology, of international agreements proving beneficial? Or is discussion of frameworks for the governance of AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) a distraction from more pressing issues, given the potential long time scales ahead before AGI becomes a realistic prospect? Artificial Intelligence is touching almost every aspect of our lives. It’s reasonable to expect AI influence will only increase in the future. One of many fields heavily influenced by AI is the military. Particularly in the development of Supersoldiers. The notion of super-soldiers enhanced with biotechnology and cybernetics was once only possible in the realm of science fiction. But it may not be too long before these concepts become a reality. A new worldwide arms race is pitting countries against each other to be the first to successfully create real genetically modified super soldiers by using tools such as CRISPR. Understandably many of these human enhancement technologies raise health and safety questions and it is more likely these enhancements will first gain traction in countries that do not place as much weight on ethical concerns. According to US Intelligence, China has conducted “human testing” on members of the People’s Liberation Army in hope of developing soldiers with “biologically enhanced capabilities. This has made the U.S. military’s top intelligence agencies increasingly worried but the Pentagon has significantly invested in its own research in AI and in the extension of the human senses beyond their current physical limitations, to provide soldiers with superhuman abilities. The basics of brain-machine interfaces with AI are being developed for the military, and if the results are as successful as scientists hope they will be, soldiers could one day be enhanced with cybernetics, effectively becoming trans-human soldiers. The US Military is also examining newly scientific tools, like [More]
