Casey’s General Stores uses AI-based analytics — including sophisticated overtime analysis — to give managers the workforce information they need to optimize staffing and reduce overtime costs. Using AI HR systems, managers receive workforce metrics in a more timely manner and at each manager’s fingertips. The AI also enables mass communication about pending overtime, making for a powerful combination.

AI analytics also helps with employee turnover, according to Classon. The AI keeps users aware of trends in the workforce analytics and help them spot trouble areas and possible remedies, ultimately reducing turnover and reducing hiring and offboarding costs.
