UAE-PRIME: The Region’s First Neuralink Clinical Trial
We are proud to lead the UAE-PRIME clinical trial in collaboration with Neuralink, the region’s first brain-computer interface (BCI) study.
Led by Dr. Florian Roser, Chief Medical Officer and Institute Chief of Neurosurgery at the Neurological Institute, the trial investigates how Neuralink’s device can decode brain activity and translate thought into action.
This breakthrough could enable people with severe motor or speech impairments to control external devices, simply by thinking.
