Elon Musk JUST WARNED Bill Gates: “I’ll DESTROY You Because Of THIS!” 🔔 Subscribe now with all notifications on for more Elon Musk, SpaceX and Tesla videos! Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, is well known for his tongue-in-cheek humor. Despite the fact that his tweets often bring the billionaire into controversy, he seems quite unfazed by all the controversies around his tweets. Musk is now angry with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates for allegedly shorting Tesla shares. As a result, Musk is now attempting to get revenge on Bill Gates for the act. Well, let’s talk about this in today’s video. Musk said that he did not want to partner with Bill Gates because the two billionaires did not agree on how Tesla would evolve. According to reports, alleged screenshots of a text message conversation between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates were posted on Twitter, which Musk is buying for $44 billion. There were a few messages that appeared to show Musk declining a philanthropic opportunity from Gates after asking him if the softwaredeveloper had shorted Musk’s electric car company — meaning that Gates would make money if the valuation of the company fell. The interesting thing for Musk is that his conversation with Gates has gone viral on Twitter and later Musk even teased Gates with a joke that features the impregnated Gates alongside a pregnant man. Elon Musk was essentially referring to the clandestine function of Twitter where the social media giant is likely [More]

They are coming to an office near you: job-gobbling robots that can do your work better and more cheaply than you can. One in three jobs could be taken over by a computer or a robot in the next 20 years. Most at risk are less skilled workers such as machine operators, postmen, care workers and professional drivers. The CEO of Uber, the ride-sharing company, recently said that his goal is to replace all the firm’s drivers with autonomous cars. But it’s not just blue-collar workers who are under threat. The relentless drive to replace expensive humans with artificial intelligence poses a threat to better paid jobs too. People whose work requires uniquely human skills, such as teachers, priests, and social workers, are likely to be safe. But already in law firms, junior lawyers are being replaced by software that can scan reams of documents in search of evidence; and in hospitals the role of pharmacists is being taken over by drug-dispensing robots. What’s worse, the people gaining from all this disruption are those already rich enough to [More]

Stuart Russell (University of California, Berkeley, USA): I will briefly survey recent and expected developments in AI and their implications. Some are enormously positive, while others, such as the development of autonomous weapons and the replacement of humans in economic roles, may be negative. Beyond these, one must expect that AI capabilities will eventually exceed those of humans across a range of real-world-decision making scenarios. Should this be a cause for concern, as Elon Musk, Stephen Hawking, and others have suggested? And, if so, what can we do about it? While some in the mainstream AI community dismiss the issue, I will argue that the problem is real and that the technical aspects of it are solvable if we replace current definitions of AI with a version based on provable benefit to humans.
