I originally made this song for the Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty contest. I had this mental image of a mind hooked up to a machine, or a cyborg with only it's brain still being organic, keeping to a steady machine rhythm. Though at the end, a part of their remaining humanity still shines through, singing out their woes... only for it to be crushed again, back into the mechanical rhythm.
