Master’s Program "AI in Society"
The Master’s Program in "AI in Society" addresses the urgent need for professionals capable of guiding the responsible integration of artificial intelligence into society. As AI evolves rapidly, challenges such as algorithmic bias, transparency, data privacy, equitable access, and security demand interdisciplinary expertise to navigate technical, regulatory, and societal complexities. This program equips students with a unique blend of technical knowledge and social science understanding, focusing on mitigating biases, enhancing explainability, and shaping governance frameworks to ensure responsible AI deployment. Emphasizing current advancements like generative AI, it prepares graduates to serve as intermediaries between technical developers and societal stakeholders, steering roles as consultants, policy advisors, or product managers. Rather than developing AI systems directly, they analyze societal impacts, advocate for fairness and transparency, and design inclusive policies that align innovation with social good.
