In preparation for an increased demand of its services over the next decade, including work slated to begin next year, the 846th TS works to get its hypersonic sled testing program up to speed.
In this video, the 846th TS, 704th Test Group, Arnold Engineering Development Complex located at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, conduct a test simulation at the Holloman High Speed Test Track April 23, 2020. The test was to evaluate key hypersonic braking technologies and enhanced workforce readiness for future hypersonic weapons tests.
