How do algorithms spread bias throughout our culture? In this talk, technology thought leader Corey Patrick White shares the dangers of algorithmic bias, and how high the stakes are for humanity. As a partner and senior vice president at Future Point of View, Corey Patrick White is tasked with helping leaders look out into the future and anticipate how technology will impact their organizations and themselves. He is especially focused on the role that machine intelligence will play in almost every aspect of life: from the decisions we make, to the professions we undertake, to how we interact with the world and each other. Corey began his career as a journalist before joining Future Point of View. As a journalist, he developed investigative skills as well as a desire to understand complicated topics and to explain those topics in a way that everyone can understand. He brings these skills to the speaking stage, offering insights into how complex innovation is dramatically altering the world we live in ways that can be both positive and negative. interesting talk, thank you

Read my ABOUT section PLEASE says:

I'm sorry, I just really need help now more than ever. πŸ™ Got a spare money or a $1? No opportunities outside due to constant lockdowns in our country. 😷 Been trying to save for a laptop (homejob), but now need help for me to put food on the table. πŸ™ I'm not a bad person, just a desperate breadwinner. Lost a lot since 2020. 😒 Sucks to be livin' in poverty in a 3rd world country. πŸ’”

Prayers and well-wishes are also very much appreciated. πŸ˜‡

Off-topic, I know… I hope you understand the desperation.Β  I know some people need more help than me and my family but I do hope that does not invalidate my cry for help. πŸ˜’πŸ’”

Things are getting worse here. We don't have stimulus checks or anything like USA. So I'm just really doing whatever I can to put food on the table. We may not be killed by the virus but the situation is surely slowly killing us. πŸ’”Β

Peace be with you. GOD bless you always. πŸ™

And to anyone who's struggling these day, let's hold on tight. All will soon be well. Hopefully. πŸ’ͺπŸ™β€

Tertium commentum. In passato audiebam commenta latina praeferri. Illa oratio optima fuit. Algorithmi pericolosi sunt, quia puto nos multas ideas totarum opinionum audire debere, et algorithmi illud non permittunt.
