THE FUTURE IS HERE

Here is why brain implants will make learning obsolete

What do you think of when you hear the term brain implant? Does Elon Musk’s Neuralink come to mind? How about neurotech company MindX or the latest technology of ‘neurograins’?

According to some leading artificial intelligence experts, in the next 20 years, we will likely have implants put into our heads that will allow us to learn everything by simply downloading information. Gone will be the days where you need to Google information. The information will come to your brain courtesy of a neural implant.

This may seem far-fetched, but it should be noted that Neuralink has reportedly already implanted a macaque monkey with a brain chip that lets him play a game of Pong without using a joystick or hands. Just imagine what they’ll achieve next!

Experts also believe that all these changes will help humanity rather than harm it. But are we really close enough to seeing such advanced developments?

The experts believe we are seeing unprecedented growth in the fields of brain chips, wearable tech, and brain stimulation. Indeed, if you follow the news, it does seem like some new advancement is made almost every month.

Could the time of brain implants finally be upon us? And will it make the current process of learning obsolete? Only time will tell.
