Henry Shi is an investor, entrepreneur, and technologist. He is the Managing Partner of AI List Capital and a Venture Partner with BOLD Capital Partners. Henry is an early investor in over 20 AI-driven startups, three of which are at or approaching unicorn status. His portfolio companies have attracted follow-up investments from Sequoia, GV, Accel, KPCB, SoftBank, Tencent, and many others. Previously, Henry was a Venture Partner with Zuma Ventures, a studio-style incubator for emerging tech companies. As a serial entrepreneur, Henry cofounded PlusYoou, one of the largest startup platforms in Southern California that connects local startups with strategic partners and venture capital from Asia. Henry has also cofounded CloudApply (acquired), the first online marketplace in China that provides on-demand education consulting. Henry is a Computer Science PhD from University of Southern California and a Visiting Scholar at Carnegie Mellon University.
