The Hoover Institution and the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) hosted Ensuring America’s Innovation in Artificial Intelligence with Condoleezza Rice and Dr. Fei-Fei Li on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to radically transform every industry and every society. Such profound changes offer great opportunities to improve the human condition for the better, but also pose unprecedented challenges. As this new era arrives, the creators and designers of AI must account for diversity of thought and ensure systems are built to properly reflect what it means to be human. Guiding the future of AI in a responsible way that translates American values of equality, opportunity and individual freedom will be paramount to ensuring our shared dream of creating a better future for all of humanity.

Kat H. says:

People talk about wanting the human element in medicine, education, personal care and such – but I completely disagree. I would much prefer to NOT have to deal with human doctors in particular. In my experience, the beliefs and biases of humans in these roles, and sometimes their personal characteristics, are a deterant for using various services. I almost always prefer unbiased, data driven, human free professional interactions these days. Even telemedicine is a huge improvement. I love not having to go to the doctor's office for treatment.

My kids are also getting a far superior education since I removed them from an in person school setting. They now take most of their classes online. They prefer the classes which are a combination of videos and AI driven adaptive skills practice and knowledge testing. They moan and groan when I have them take live classes. They have no interest in ever going back to in person classes for academic subjects. They enjoy school now and are years ahead of their peers because we made the switch to a digital education.

Pre Covid restrictions, they had plenty of human interaction, but it wasn't combined with education. It was extracurricular and social. Our family life seems to run so much smoother than the traditional school families we know too. Our kids aren't being hyper sexualized like their school going friends are. They don't have to deal with bullies, or trying to be cool, or spending half their day waiting for other kids in the class to start behaving themselves. They aren't being sucked into materialism, or feeling like they need to conform to their peers.

They can move at their own pace and focus on subjects that interest them most. They can have some control over their own schedules as well. It is SO much better removing the human element from education.

I know in not alone in my preference.

Personal relationships are important for mental wellbeing, but beyond recreational activities, I'm not convinced they have much to offer in many cases.

There are plenty of creative, productive and social activities humans can fill their time with as the machines replace us in the working world. We will, of course, need a completely different economic framework for this to be a functional option.

I was a bit disturbed by the bit of identity politics thrown in there. Its really not okay to start choosing who gets what opportunities based on race. It wasn't okay when white people did that and its not okay for the roles to switch either. My kids shouldn't have to have less opportunities in their lives simply because they are white and institutions are specifically looking to avoid letting white people, or males for that matter, have the same opportunities as everyone else.

I doubt that people who are minorities want to feel like they got to where they are in life simply because of their skin color. I know I don't want to be made allowances for because I'm female. It would undermine my sense of accomplishment.

We need truly equal opportunity, equal treatement, for all people regardless of their physical characteristics or backgrounds. No one should be getting preferential treatement or opportunities for any reasons which are not under their control.

I certainly hope that this ideology is not the direction the Hoover Institute is moving towards promoting.

Tim Berger says:

People please think about it!

A-I is there to make CYBORGs out of all enslaved people who survive toxic vaccinations and bow to the dictatorial system.

The dictators of this world are driven by the satanic spirit and their real goal is to manipulate our DNA through transhumanism to ultimately create a superhuman with the option to live forever.

With every next technology, they become more powerful and richer, people more helpless, poorer, unemployed or dead … they steal God-given freedom from us, they create new laws and abolish our human rights.

They want to force all of humanity into a digitized world in which we are then only controlled, chipped slaves who are followed by the rulers at every turn and are constantly vaccinated with toxins and new nano-particles.

They want to make monstrous experiments on the enslaved people, so that a humanoid, never sick and immortal robot – cyborg, can emerge from the mixture between high technology and humans.

These dehumanized, self-proclaimed world rulers do not believe in Jesus and scoff at his creatures, they play God but their plan will not succeed because Jesus is coming soon. Jesus said that this last time will be terrible, but at the right time he will intervene and destroy both Satan, his demons and all his unscrupulous, human subjects.

No A-I, no human invention, but a new heaven and a new earth that Jesus promised us is our future forever. Amen!

2 Peter 3: 12-13

looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

Revelation 21: 3,4

And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.

Barring that, please look into organizations dedicated to safe human cooperation like the Future of Life Institute. (
