DARPA’s cyber-R&D portfolio is developing technologies to enable US deterrence by ensuring (1) the information and operational technology used to manage and control US critical infrastructure can operate through, and be rapidly recovered following, a cyberattack, and (2) the US can mount an effective and appropriately-scaled cyber-response to any cyberattack.
