What is the nature of curiosity? Mike Frank, a Stanford professor of psychology, explains how he and his colleagues are using computational tools to study children’s behaviors with the goal to better understand their development and build models for creating more curious, adaptive artificial agents.

The project received a Hoffman-Yee Research Grant, which funds interdisciplinary teams with research focused on the human and societal impact of AI, augmenting human capabilities, and developing AI technologies inspired by human intelligence.
