Most people don't realize that generative AI like ChatGPT saves the prompts you put into it and might even use that information when other people ask it questions. This might mean that private information you put into an AI could cause loss of trade secrets or patent rights, so be very careful about what you input into an AI. This is why many companies currently ban the use of AI products like ChatGPT.
