What if you could control devices directly through your mind? Or imagine being able to download information directly into your brain. There is a growing industry for a technology that will allow you to connect your brain to directly to machines. It's called: brain-computer interface (BCI)
BCIs are nothing new. Historically they were used for the treatment of brain related illnesses, but now tech companies are investing millions into their development.
Elon Musk founded Neuralink, Meta acquired CTRL-Labs, and DARPA, the R&D agency of the US military, is also at the forefront of their research.
