How can Artificial Intelligence (AI) create creativity and how does it differentiate and enhance human-created works? What are the limitations of humans in the creative process, and can AI be used to break out of familiar patterns? In his TEDx Talk, Damian Dziwis anwers these questions by showing the possibilities we have when working with a creative AI. He further shares his own artistic experiences of composing and performing AI. Damian Dziwis is an engineer and composer. He creates the majority of his works through algorithms, AI and other electronic processes. His concerts and installations have been shown and performed at various festivals such as "CTM Festival" in Berlin, "Music Tech Festival" in Stockholm or "inSonic Festival" at ZKM Karlsruhe. As an engineer he develops applications and hardware for signal processing and is currently doing his PhD in the field of virtual acoustics and holophony.
