Basics of Brain Computer Interface (BCI) with example | Neuroscience | Upside Down Labs

You can use our BioAmp EXG Pill (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLpDMV8pcVA) to record EEG signals and create a brain-computer interface at ease.

What is Brain-Computer Interface (BCI)?
BCI is a direct communication pathway between the brain’s electrical activity and an external device, most commonly a computer or robotic limb. BCIs are often directed at researching, mapping, assisting, augmenting, or repairing human cognitive or sensory-motor functions. Implementations of BCIs range from non-invasive (EEG, MEG, EOG, MRI) and partially invasive (ECoG and endovascular) to invasive (microelectrode array), based on how close electrodes get to brain tissue.

The basic concept is that we use the electrical activity and set a trigger to control any external device like an electrical bulb.
