AI Masterclass on Quantum Machine Learning with Geordie Rose, PhD (Sanctuary AI)
Synthetic Intelligence Forum convened a masterclass on Quantum Machine Learning (QML) by Dr. Geordie Rose from Sanctuary AI.
Biography: Geordie co-founded D-Wave, the world’s first quantum computing company, and Kindred, the world’s first robotics company to use reinforcement learning in a production environment. He also co-founded Sanctuary AI whose mission is to create general purpose robots that can autonomously perform most economically valuable work. He has sold quantum computers and robots that learn to Google, NASA, Lockheed Martin, The Gap, and several US government agencies. He earned a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of British Columbia, was named the 2011 Canadian Innovator of the Year, and was one of Foreign Policy Magazine’s 100 Leading Global Thinkers of 2013.
