Our Next-Generation Microelectronics Manufacturing (NGMM) program is charting a bold path forward for the next generation of U.S. microelectronics.
In Phase 1, we’re laying the groundwork: building the infrastructure and baseline fabrication processes needed to support advanced design and manufacturing. In Phase 2, we’ll focus on maturing those capabilities, testing initial prototypes, and automating processes to make NGMM a reality.
The goal: the nation’s first 3DHI R&D, prototyping, and pilot production center, where researchers, startups, defense partners, and industry can develop microsystems that are faster, smaller, and smarter — beyond silicon.
