THE FUTURE IS HERE

AI-Powered digital twin technology for predictive maintenance in pharmaceutical manufacturing

The University of Cambridge’s first overseas research centre (CARES) and Singapore’s lead public R&D agency (A*STAR) have developed a digital twin platform using AI and real-time plant data to enhance fault detection, system monitoring, and predictive maintenance in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

This video summarises the completion of the CARES-A*STAR project “From Digital Twins to Real Time AI-Supported Plant Operations” under the Pharma Innovation Programme Singapore (PIPS).

Commercialisation of the technology is underway through a CARES spin-off called Chemical Data Intelligence to be made available to the PIPS Consortium.
