28 And Depressed: Finding Cognitive Behavioural Therapy With AI

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is commonly used to treat anxiety, depression and other mental health issues. It teaches one to spot negative patterns in thinking and how to reframe thoughts in a more objective way. Other than sitting down with a psychiatrist or therapist, CBT can now be found in an Artificial Intelligence chatbot, Woebot, which is developed by psychologists at Stamford University.
