This is a workshop organised by the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum in the frame of the EU Blockchain Week 2021, under the auspices of the Slovenian Presidency of the EU. The workshop took place on the 21st of September 2021.
Welcome to BlockSpaces Live! There is a lot of speculation about the impact of Artificial Intelligence on Blockchain. Part of the problem is the folklore surrounding Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. Putting the two technologies together has the potential to use data in ways that were never before thought possible. Data is the key ingredient for the development and enhancement of AI algorithms, and blockchain secures this data, allowing us to audit all intermediary steps AI takes to draw conclusions from the data and allows individuals to monetize their produced data. Will combining these new technologies cause more problems then they solve? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. Hosted by Shahan Khoshafian Guests: Dr.Setrag Khoshafian – Principal & Chief Scientist, Khosh Consulting Chuck Dyer – DXC Technologies Visit us at https://blockspaces.io Join us every Thursday at 12PM/EST. We are a dynamic, fast-growing international team of experts and forward-thinking technology enthusiasts working on the convergence of blockchain, AI and multi-agent systems. We are building technology for both today and tomorrow – a collective super-intelligence on top of decentralized economic internet built with a highly scalable next-generation distributed ledger technology. Combined with machine learning, this delivers the predictions and infrastructure to power the future economy. Developing fascinating and promising new technology, we have a team of top class software engineers and researchers working across multiple fields (multi agent systems, machine learning, economics, cryptography). To further improve our solutions and deploy them in real life scenarios, we also collaborate with top academics and corporate partners across the world . We believe our technology will improve how we communicate, it will give voice and new opportunities to people, organizations and the Internet of Things, effectively democratizing the space and improving lives of citizens. —
Everything seems possible in the cloud — including promising new applications for artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and blockchain in healthcare, education, manufacturing, entertainment and beyond. But how can you make sure your implementation goes smoothly? Who should be involved in the selection process for cloud service providers? Are these new technologies only viable at the enterprise level — or is there room for SMB? If you’ve ever asked any of these questions, you’re in luck. In this episode, Kevin joins forces with Samer Mahmoud, Dr. Mahmoud Barraj and moderator Lee Alcorn for a panel in partnership with MENA Cloud Alliance. Hear their expert views on all these questions and more — and get practical advice for getting started on deriving real business value from convergence solutions.

I’m pleased to announce our Wednesday, 6/20 event in the Blockchain in Healthcare Webinar Series, “AI Convergence, Concepts, and Controversies,” taking place 8-10PM EST. This lively discussion moderated by Heather Flannery will feature two thought leaders in the industry, David Houlding, Principle Healthcare Program Manager, Cloud + Enterprise Division, at Microsoft Corporation, and Jack Neil MD, CEO, at Zather and udifi, and CTO and Pediatric Anesthesiologist at Medstream. We’ll introduce AI methods such as machine learning, deep learning, and robotic process automation and its convergence with blockchain and distributed ledger technology. The discussion will explore how blockchain can be used to more rapidly assemble the very large data sets needed to successfully train AIs, the role of smart contracts in this process, the mechanics of off-chain big data storage, the critical role auditable data provenance plays in manifesting ethical, transparent AI inferences and conclusions, and more. This highly engaging two-hour live event will begin with 30 minutes of presentations from the guest speakers, followed by a one hour interview-format discussion, and close with 30 minutes of facilitated audience Q&A.
Al Burgio & Matthew Roszak, sit down for a fireside chat with John Furrier for Global Cloud & Blockchain Summit 2018 from The Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto, Ontario.
Blockchain technology, Deep Learning, and Interplanetary File Systems? How can we merge all this cool new technology to create something useful and beautiful? Watch this talk to learn about. The fields of Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence are converging, and they will intersect soon. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning require. What happens when we take two hottest technologies of today, AI and Blockchain, and put them together? Watch this talk by Siraj Raval to get the answer! EVENT: Slush 2017 SPEAKER: Siraj Raval.
Some of the hottest topics in technology today are Blockchain (not Cryptocurrency), IoT – the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. However, these are often talked about individually. But, how do they relate and why? What is driving the convergence of these technologies? What should you know to prepare yourself to drive the impact these technologies will make on the future? Guest Speakers: Chris Tyler, Embedded Solutions Evangelist from IBM Analytics and Cloud Chris Tyler is a technical evangelist who works with startups to help them better understand and leverage the benefits of data, analytics, blockchain, IoT, and AI / machine learning in their solutions. Chris mentors startups on how these technologies can help them differentiate themselves in their markets. He is considered a thought leader around monetizing data and analytics and advises multiple companies on building data-driven products. Strategic Business Insights (free video series) The fields of Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence are converging, and they will intersect soon. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning require vast amounts of data. That’s how they learn. Meanwhile, Blockchain allows for decentralized autonomous organizations which will soon involve hundreds of millions of people. Furthermore, platforms built on Blockchain technology will soon be powerful enough to support AI applications. At that point, AI could evolve very quickly and become, effectively, an unstoppable utility for the world’s population. No one knows exactly how this convergence will play out. Certainly, I do not either, but I know this is an exciting time and I plan on following the developments as they emerge. The results will most definitely affect us all. Patrick Schwerdtfeger is a leading authority on technology trends including big data, artificial intelligence and blockchain. He has written four books and is a regular speaker for Bloomberg TV. Contact us if you are interested in booking him as a keynote speaker at your next corporate event.
