Team KAIST from Korea climbs the stairs to victory, finishing the eighth and final task of the DARPA Robotics Challenge with the fastest time.
Thanks! Share it with your friends!
youtube should support portrait frame
너무 축하드려요. 아 눈물 날 것 같아요. 한국인으로서 감동적이고 감격적인 순간이네요.
they r cheering like cancer was just cured
ljkhg-:::::::::::: EVEN THE IDEA OF MAKING THE ROBOT DRIVE A CAR WAS STOLEN FROM MY WEBSITE :::::::: BUT THAT STUPID ROBOT CANT EVEN GO OUT OF THE CAR WITHOUT FALLING ::: AND HALF AN HOUR TO CLIMB ON A SUPPOSED SPECIAL CAR BUT WITH HELP ::: :::::::::::::IT IS A FAILURE BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT EXPERTS ON THE ISSUE BUT THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT ABUSING THEIR POSITION AT THOSE UNIVERSITIES AND INSTITUTIONS (THIS IS WHY FOR EXAMPLE THE FIRST INDUSTRIAL ROBOT AND THE FIRST AUTOMATIC DOOR WERE NOT INVENTED AT THOSE UNIVERSITIES NOR AT DARPA)::: THANKS TO THESE INCOMPETENTS THE US HAS WORLD RECORD OF DEBT AND THEY ARE MAKING LOSE MORE THAN A TRILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR TO THE COUNTRY ::: DARPA IS PROMOTING IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE AND MEDIOCRITY AT THOSE UNIVERSITIES AND INSTITUTIONS !!! THE RESULTS ARE MORE THAN CLEAR ::::: WORLD RECORD OF DEBT BETWEEN OTHER SERIOUS SOCIAL PROBLEMS IN THE USA ::: IRRESPONSIBLE AND MEDIOCRITY :::
They are building other robots in secret. this sounds like sssss
That's just awesome. Thanks for sharing! It was a great event to go to.
If all you are concerned about is the fact that the smartphone is held vertically then please give yourself a powerful slap across the face for me. Cheers.
DRC finals… is this the end of DRC? no more DRC in 2016 or 2017?
The most impressive part of this whole is that people were cheering so hard despite the nationality. In most events, it's usually "my country against your country", but here it is simply people cheering for a common result. It's a nice notion. Thank you for this competition: it's been very interesting and enlightening!
I'm slightly salty that Robosimian isn't the winner
In 1977 we had the Apple II. Now we have…
In 2015 we have ATLAS. In 2053 we will have…
as humans. this is the best we can do. Hope i get a better option for my next life.
I was there at the competition and it was awesome! There is something amazing about seeing the crowd cheering for the robots. All I can say is that the future of robotics is going to be exciting.
I predict that other teams will adapt the Korean team's technics and strategies for next year. Korean robot HUBO was totally outstanding. Great works!!!
카이스트팀 완전 추카추카~~~
The precursor to ED-209, "Please put down your weapon. You have twenty seconds to comply."
What robot is this, doesn't look like an Atlas robot..
Without warning, the robot suddenly began emptying its hidden Gatling guns into the audience. Cheers turned to screams as the bot's gait multiplied 20 fold and it leapt over the guard rail and into the crowd, mowing down previously jubilant spectators… The Fall had begun. (cue death metal music)
DONT FILM VERTICALLY
Didnt Robosibian complete all the challenges as well?
good job ! you guys all proudly engineers
So many years of robotics and this is the best they can do…
Only if all of you who are mocking the bad video know that this footage was filmed by last year's winning robot holding a phone.
В аду уготовано специальное место для тех, кто снимает вертикально!
DARPA can't figure out smartphones
What about using a real camera in a billion-dollar competition?
The person who takes vertical videos should have the fingers slapped over
Change the world!!
