THE FUTURE IS HERE

Tim Urban | Inside the mind of a master procrastinator (Short Version)

This edited short video looks at Tim Urban’s TED talk about procrastination.

His key message is that we all procrastinate to some extent but are usually saved by that feeling of panic that sets in when a deadline gets near. However, when looking at goals that have no deadline, we can end up procrastinating almost indefinitely. It’s important that we look at our lives, think about what we want to accomplish within our lifetime and assign deadlines to ourself.

Full talk’s description:
“Tim Urban knows that procrastination doesn’t make sense, but he’s never been able to shake his habit of waiting until the last minute to get things done. In this hilarious and insightful talk, Urban takes us on a journey through YouTube binges, Wikipedia rabbit holes and bouts of staring out the window — and encourages us to think harder about what we’re really procrastinating on, before we run out of time.
