Noam Chomsky is one of the greatest minds of our time and is one of the most cited scholars in history. He is a linguist, philosopher, cognitive scientist, historian, social critic, and political activist. He has spent over 60 years at MIT and recently also joined the University of Arizona. This conversation is part of the Artificial Intelligence podcast.

As I explain in the introduction, due to an unfortunate mishap, this conversation is audio-only. Hope you still enjoy it and find it interesting.

Cindy Runberg says:

Perhaps the reason is right in front of face. There are no coincidence or mistakes on visual. I fail to see your displeasure

Victor Almeida says:

Engraçado como ele nao levou nem 30minutos para ver o que estava implícito nas suas perguntas e, por conseguinte, perder o interesse em participar dessa entrevista.

Bucket III says:

I listen to this ASMR recording to help me sleep.

Padlocked dreamy escapes says:

I have no idea why I dismissed you , as a savvy smartass Russian who is trying to make a quick buck for himself.

Here u actually seem like a genuine person, and u seem interested in the topics of discussion.

Keep it up

David Aminov says:

Great podcast. Lack of video didn't retract from it a bit, far as I'm concerned.

musclecard54 says:

Allistair Neil says:

What it's ALL about at 30:05 !!! Definitely the best interview by Lex so far. Difficult tsay because they are all very good interviews but this is a relatively short little gem. Davai Lex!

Get some sleep brother, you are doing great work! Try power napping to refresh, don't burn out 😉

David Jay says:

I have been waiting for someone in the AI research space to speak with Chomsky, he is one of the great minds in linguistics.
I have long believed that in order to accomplish a human centric AGI, natural language will need to be at the foundations core.
